This past year was a pivotal one for Amerillum. Significant growth in volume of its brands, a·light and Alumen8, and more complex orders than ever before, has driven us to upgrade in many areas. Thank you for your patience as we grappled with our growing pains. As a part of our commitment to continued improvement in service for the specifier and our reps, we have completed several major undertakings in 2009:

• Hiring an a·light Western Regional Sales Manager
• Hiring an Alumen8 National Sales Manager
• Launching a new a·light website
• Adding an Application Engineering Specialist
• Upgrading engineering capacity
• Adding additional customer support staff
• Instituting a technical sales review process that speeds up order delivery and accuracy

Now, after operating in a multi-building environment since inception, we are building a brand new manufacturing facility in Southern California. When most other companies have cut back on personnel and infinitely delayed growth plans, we are taking essential steps towards ensuring that our customers receive the very best of support.

The groundbreaking will occur very soon. AmerillumBrands will house both its subsidiaries, a·light and Alumen8, in the 54,000 square foot space seen in this rendering. The offices, manufacturing and warehouse facilities are situated on 3 acres with an ocean view, 11 miles from our current office.
